When it comes to shopping, Copper Mountain has a great selection of stores. Camp Hale Outfitters is the largest retail center in the neighborhood for apparel, gear, and merchandise. Other popular spots include The Copper Collection and Copper Sports, which double as rental centers. For grocery and convenience items, McCoy’s Mountain Market has high-quality options and is located right in Center Village.

There’s always a fun activity to partake in with family and friends for residents and visitors of Copper Mountain. The neighborhood is constantly updating its calendar of events with lively festivities and social gatherings to bring community members together. The area is also known for hosting first-class competitions that draw the best skiers and snowboarders in the world to the mountain, with Dew Tour, U.S. Grand Prix, and USASA National Championships being the most popular. To accommodate its adventurous community, Woodward Copper offers year-round riding trails on real Colorado snow, plus an astonishing 19,400 square foot indoor recreational facility called “The Barn” with Olympic-grade trampolines, skateparks, jump pits, ski, and snowboard training equipment, and more. Copper Mountain is within White River National Forest, w where you can find fun activities like the Rocky Mountain Coaster. It’s also a biker’s paradise, featuring bike rentals with downhill biking, mountain bike lessons, and Wrecktangle, which is an outdoor ninja obstacle course in the heart of Copper’s Center Village.
